If you use the debug feature (system state #07), you can play with Sypha in Aquarius (the sunken ruins). Just before the Bone Dragon King's first battle, one of the candles will give Sypha her Fire spell (assuming she could have been used in that stage to begin with). Her Fire spell literally TWO-SHOT KILLS the boss, completely breaking the flood sequence, forcing you to wait for time to run out and die!
