At Game Maker Community, the official forum for GM, There are two types of tutorials - those that get placed in the Tutorials forum and those that get placed in the Staff Choice forum. There are 895 and counting tutorials in the Tutorials forum. There are only 83 tutorials in the Staff Choice forum.

Woops. Scratch that. There are 84 tutorials in the Staff Choice forum now. My Classicvania room transition tutorial was just chosen to be among the few tutorials permitted in Staff Choice! This has been a momentous week for me. Maybe breaking up with my fiance was a good thing after all.
