That wasn't so tough!

I went back to work on the game today, working on the breakable blocks. After recording game play footage of Trevor breaking blocks over and over, I realized a couple important things.

There are a limited number of rubble layouts (the little pebbles that fly out of broken walls). Three pebbles are created, but only two actually move. The third one is destroyed on the next step. Of the two active pebbles, their location in relation to the broken wall determines what path they will fly off along. Best of all, each pebble only lasts 30 steps (half a second), so I don't have to map out too many steps.

I have yet to figure out what formula Konami used for free-falling, but maybe I can get a little closer to figuring that out using the measurements I gathered from my recent acts of vandalism.
